* basic swimming skills
* the minimum age for using the diving device is 10 years - for smaller kids and teenagers, the consent of a parent or legal guardian is required

* NO valid certificate - just commemorative certificate of Advanced Mermaiding course

Mandatory diving equipment for the course with the diving device
* diving ABCD - mask, snorkel, monofin, socks
* diving equipment appropriate to the conditions in which the training will take place - swimsuit, neoprene suit, hood, gloves
* diving device, i.e. regulator - 1st stage and two 2nd stages - primary with a hose length of 150 cm and secondary suspended on rubber under the chin, inflator hose, console, buoyancy control device (BCD), integrated weight system and air-filled tank

Course content
Course content without diving device
* introductory briefing, positive motivation, energization of the organism
* introduction to the basic points and limits of the lesson and course
* forms of communication under water – signals
* positive relaxation, preparation for practical exercises
* assembly - "arrangement" of mermaiding equipment
* putting on - "clothing", methodology, practical demonstration, repeated exercises
* exercise in calculating the number of weights under different conditions - fresh/ salt water or thick/ thin neoprene
* preparation of the anti-fog mask and method of attachment to the top of the head
* water entry training and submersion
* pressure equalization in the middle ear
* work with monofins
* dolphin kick improvement
* movement under water
* work with the mask – flooding and clearing the mask, no mask breathing
* final debriefing
Course content with diving device

* forms of underwater communication - signals and wetnotes
* positive relaxation, preparation for practical exercises
* assembly - "equipment" of the diving device, subsequent check of the correctness of the assembly, complete set for diving
* putting on - "clothing" of the diving device by the diver, methodology, practical demonstration, repeated exercises
* exercise in calculating the amount of weights under different conditions - fresh/ salt water or thick/ thin neoprene
* preparation of the anti-fog mask and method of attachment to the top of the head
* buoyancy control device - "wing" or "jacket" - the basic element for the vertical movement of the diver
